You won't believe all the cute things I've been doing! ...Ok. Maybe you will...
Like this!
That's right. That's me. But look at that cute scarf!!! I made it so that the buttons will make it kind of an infinity scarf. It matches the beanie I made, and talked about in my last post! (It's for the same person, who would have thought?!) Here's another picture:
So, you can kind of tell that I made holes on the one side for the buttons. It's just a simple scarf--and it's super warm, too!
Next post: (It should be about:) I'm making a handful of baby beanies for a very good friend of mine, Alli Pugh! She's having her first baby, and it's a boy!

Welcome!
Hello!
You probably already know me. And that's ok. You probably already know that I crochet things. That's ok, too. :) It's my intent to post when I finish a new project. It's going to be great fun. I just know it.
So here's my latest project. Let me tell you about it.
Last year, our ward (church congregation) did an auction for the youth to send them to camp. The auction was made so everyone who wanted to could give of their talents, or food, or service, ...I think you get the idea. So, being the helpful person I sometimes am, I volunteered to crochet 5 different items for 5 different people. I've already made one of my "baby kits" --those include a baby beanie, baby mittens, and baby booties-- for a woman from the ward. This last one was from our Relief Society President. (The president over the women in the congregation ages 18+. If you couldn't tell, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is very organized. Down to the tee.) She wanted a light gray beanie with a dark brown button on the side. Let me tell you, I did not think it would look as good as it turned out.
So, as usual, the Relief Society President was inspired. I did have some issues with it though. I didn't finish it in one sitting. So naturally, I forgot what size hook I was using. I had to go back a few times and redo a few rows before finally finishing it. But here we are! And how wonderful it looks.
So, here's to updating at least once a week. See you soon!
